A colourful and vibrant atmosphere along the river characterises Hamburg’s attractive Winterhude district – your new “hood” from home. Wander through the small, tree-lined alleys with their mix of grand, traditional Hamburg buildings and apartments, treat yourself to fresh produce from the weekly market on the Goldbekkanal, take in the atmosphere of the streets with their coffee shops, restaurants and creative shops, offices and international flair or simply glide in a canoe on the water channels through the district until you reach the Außenalster. How to reach us
Parking – Safe & secure!
Winterhude is a vibrant residential and commercial quarter and the number of public parking spaces is therefore limited. However, you don’t need to worry finding a space as we offer several free and monitored spaces for you to unload right in front of the hotel – the barrier leading to the parking area opens automatically.
Either you stay here or you use our garage whih is which is only a 3-minute walk away.

20 Euro/ night ( The parking entry card is only available at the reception after Check-in)
Parking directly at Hood House (preferred for handicapped guests, cars with a height of 2 metres and more, lazy-to-run-guests)

We also have one electronic charging station available.
Stops Bus
Central train station: From Hamburg’s main train station, take bus no. 17 towards U-Bahnhof (underground) Berner Heerweg or bus no. 6 towards U Borgweg and disembark at the Goldbekplatz stop (9 stops) – from here it is a 3-minute walk to reach us.
Airport: take the S1 line heading towards Wedel and disembark at Ohlsdorf. From here, take the U1 urban rail towards Farmsen until you get to Hudtwalcker Straße. Change into bus 25 towards
U-Bahn Burgstraße and get off at Dorotheenstraße. From here it is a 5 minute walk until you reach us.
